About Melissa Jesurun
A “horse girl” from birth, Melissa has spent her entire life craving to be around horses, to better understand them, and to support their happiness in mind, body, and spirit.
This deep seated desire to know more has resulted in a journey from childhood days spent at 4-H horse club meetings, to a career of competing and coaching at AQHA, APHA, and WDAA World shows, to judge's seminars with the Color Breed Council and WDAA, cow working clinics, equine biomechanics courses, rider biomechanics courses, opportunities to ride with classical dressage masters, to casual trail rides and everything in between.
With gratitude to this journey, Melissa enjoys helping owners and horses unlock their true potential in a multitude of formats. Lessons can range from learning about ground / in-hand work, helping riders develop better balance in the saddle, helping horses develop greater confidence in their bodies, fun and engaging obstacle work, and so much more with an emphasis on mutual respect and understanding between horse and human.
